Accessing Reports
- Click Reports in the sidebar (Manager and Admin only).
- The page defaults to the current calendar month.
Changing the Date Range
Use the From and To date pickers, or quick presets: Today, Last 7 Days, This Month. All report sections update automatically.
Report Sections
Sales Summary

Top Products
Best-selling products ranked by revenue: Product Name, Quantity Sold, Revenue Generated.
Cashier Breakdown
Performance per cashier: Name, Transactions, Total Revenue.
Top Customers
Highest-spending customers: Name, Transactions, Total Spend, Average Order Value, Last Visit. Click any row to open that customer's full profile.
Tax Summary (when Tax Module is enabled)
Go to Reports → Tax Summary and select a date range.

The breakdown table shows each tax rate separately (e.g. Standard at 20.5% and Zero-rated at 0%) with the taxable base amount and tax collected per rate. Use this as a starting point when preparing your VAT/GST filing.
FAQ
Q: Are voided sales included in reports?
A: No. Only completed sales are counted. Voided sales are excluded from all figures.
Q: Can a Cashier access the Reports page?
A: No. Reports are restricted to Managers and Admins.
Q: Can I export the reports?
A: Export functionality is not available yet. Use your browser's print function to save a snapshot.
Q: Why don't I see any customers in the "Top Customers" section?
A: Only sales with an attached customer are counted. Walk-in/anonymous sales are excluded. Make sure cashiers are attaching customer records at checkout.
Q: Why does "Top Products" only show 10 items?
A: The report defaults to the top 10 performers to keep the view focused.
Q: The numbers don't match what I expected.
A: Verify your date range is set correctly. Remember that voided sales are excluded and only completed transactions count.
